Description: HIV Prevention Research Program Coordinator “Employment is with The Research Foundation for The State University of New York, a private, nonprofit, educational corporation that administers sponsored program activity for the University at Albany.” Description of Duties (This is a brief summary of the hiring department and the duties of the role): The Department of Health Policy, Management, and Behavior at the University at Albany School of Public Health has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Research Program Coordinator. The coordinator will primarily work on research studies focused on HIV/STI prevention and treatment in marginalized communities especially among cisgender Black women in New York. The anticipated start date for this position is November 1, 2024. The applicant should have strong skills in coordinating research studies (preferably qualitative and randomized controlled trials), managing administrative aspects of study procedures, and community engagement. The applicant should have a strong scientific writing background and must be able to spearhead the programmatic components of research projects, including annual progress report writing to grant funding agencies, and managing the startup and logistics of a new community-engaged research project.
