Director of Product Assurance
Teledyne Brown Engineering, located in Huntsville, AL, has an immediate professional opportunity for a Director of Product Assurance.
This individual, who will report to the Company President, will provide leadership for compliance assurance and process improvement for the Company. Will manage the quality, safety, Government property, and environmental compliance staff, including manufacturing, radiological labs, product design, software systems, and engineering and scientific services. Experience is required with military and NASA specifications; industry standards used by the Government; and FARs and CFRs from NASA, DoD, DOE, NRC, EPA, and OSHA. Process improvement areas include manufacturing, laboratories, system engineering, configuration management, and others as assigned. Also required is broad experience in assurance and improvement activities, hardware design and fabrication QA, and system safety experience. Must have demonstrated capability in developing compliance programs that meet a variety of requirements and proven performance in improvement activities.
BS in engineering or scientific field with a minimum of 10 years of directly applicable experience, plus 4 years of experience managing a QA organization are required.
