The City of Saco seeks a professional individual seeking a career in public safety.  Applicant must possess a High School Diploma or GED and be at least 21 years of age, or 20 years of age with 60 credit hours of post secondary education.  Pre-employment requirements include passing a Maine Criminal Justice Academy physical fitness exam, polygraph exam, psychological exam and extensive background investigation.  All applications and resumes must include MCJA Alert Test score. Academy graduates preferred.  The City offers a 4 on & 2 off schedule, 13 paid holidays, ample vacation, and sick leave with accrual to 960 hours with excellent working conditions.
