Positions require bach deg or foreign equiv. from accred. college/university in Accounting or rela field + 5 yrs exp in the offered position or a related occ. Employer will accept a masters deg + 2 yrs exp in lieu of a bach deg + 5 yrs exp. Any suitable combo of edu/training/exp is acceptable. 2 yrs exp must incl using HIPAA & regulatory requirements related to Medicare & Medicaid; U.S. GAAP; performing healthcare financial process reviews to identify control weaknesses & process gaps; utilizing electronic medical record systems, incl EPIC & Allscripts; reviewing/collecting/analyzing data to identify deficient controls & non-compliance w/ laws/regulations/management policies; & testing procedures for compliance w/ SOX 404.
