Description: The University of Missouri-Kansas City Department of Communication Studies seeks an Assistant Teaching Professor (non-tenure track, benefit-eligible, 9-month appointment) for the Fall 2015 semester. Responsibilities include teaching four courses per semester, and completing service at the departmental, college and university levels. The successful candidate should have experience teaching Rhetorical Theory and Criticism, Persuasion, Introduction to Human Communication, and Leadership. The candidate should also have experience serving on interdisciplinary committees, developing new courses, presenting course proposals to curriculum committees, and developing rubrics.
