Upper School Biology Teacher
Beaver Country Day School seeks an Upper School Science teacher with a primary focus in Biology. Responsibilities will include teaching appropriate core-curriculum science courses in the 9th through 11th grades, as well as advanced science electives. Biology is taught as an 11th grade science course at BCDS.
Background and interest in teaching Advanced Biology Courses for 12th grade in DNA & Genetics and Anatomy & Physiology preferred. The ability to teach Chemistry, physics, environmental science and familiarity with robotics are desired. Willingness to participate fully in the community beyond the classroom is essential. Candidates with Master’s Degree and/or 2-3 years teaching experience preferred.
