We are headquarted north of Pittsburgh in Warrendale, PA, and operate over 675 stores in 45 states. We intend to open over 100 stores in 2011. We are seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to lead the recruiting function for the Company and be an integral part of reaching our growth objectives. The Director of Talent Acquisition will create, develop, and execute the talent acquisition vision and strategies necessary to achieve our business goals and support the company’s continued growth plans.
Responsibilities will include:
Designing talent acquisition strategies in order to recruit and retain highly engaged and talented individuals within an exciting and rapidly growing organization of over 8,000 field and support center associates
Determining and supervising best in class hiring policies and procedures using both internal and external recruiting resources.
Leading and managing multiple high level searches for all areas of the business: determine search strategy, identify and attract diverse candidates, conduct interviews, consult hiring managers, and craft employment offers
Developing and managing the talent acquisition team, overseeing EEOC compliance and ensuring that necessary hiring practices are adhered to while also performing high-level hands-on recruitment.
Building and maintaining strong business partnerships with all levels of management across the organization.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree and 8-10 years of recruitment experience on a national level, with at least 3 years of management responsibility. Experience recruiting in the retail industry is a must!
A strong level of knowledge in all aspects of talent acquisition including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, social media, networking, screening, job description creation, compensation analysis, employment branding, and relationship management
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Able to handle competing demands and multi-task and thrive in a dynamic, fast paced high growth environment
Must be passionate about making a difference and contributing to the success of the Company.
