Sierra Southwest Cooperative Services, Inc., Southwest Transmission Cooperative, Inc., and Arizona Electric Power Cooperative, Inc. are a family of cooperatives located in Benson, Arizona, just 30 miles southeast of Tucson, in the historic San Pedro Valley.
EMS System & Application Integrator - Database Developer I, II, or III. Salary is dependent upon experience.
The function of this role is to provide database support and system and application integration for the utility billing and EMS systems in use at the cooperatives and to assist in evaluating and selecting technology components such as software and hardware for the database management systems.
Requirements include:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems or related field with preferably 2+ years of working experience in programming and database development.
Understanding of wholesale utility billing concepts and the underlying databases.
Understanding of programming languages, preferably Microsoft Visual Basic and .NET.
Understanding of Oracle's PL/SQL programming language.
Experience with relational database platforms,such as MS SQL Server, Oracle and MS Access, preference for Oracle experience.
Hands-on experience with business requirements gathering/analysis.
Prefer some experience with Automated Meter Reading Systems including Itron MV90 and/or Energy Management Systems.
Some knowledge of webpage design such as HTML, XML.
Some project management experience with the ability to both lead and work on projects in a team environment.
Technical knowledge of network, PC, and Windows operating systems.
Experience with date processing flowcharting techniques.
