We are seeking a direct leader to take on the role of Director of Learning Technology within our Office of Performance Excellence.

The Director of Learning Technology will lead the design, development, deployment and ongoing management of e-learning modules, multimedia projects and learning systems. Experience rapid e-learning tools especially articulate, presenter and story line are preferred. This hand-on role will champion emerging technology in support of faculty and staff development. Candidates for this rare opening must have the ability to provide exceptional customer service at all times as this role will interact with faculty, staff, and University executives on a regular basis.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree in instructional technology, instructional design or human resources development is preferred. Ideal candidate will have three years of experience in developing and facilitating employee development and five years of experience in e-learning, instructional technology or instructional design. Previous management experience is needed as this role will have one direct report as well as a team of student employees. While this role would ideally be based out of our Grand Rapids campus, there is some flexibility in terms of an office location.
