Description: Chief Information Officer - 7495 Pima County government is seeking a dynamic, energetic, creative and experienced leader for the position of Chief Information Officer (CIO). The Chief Information Officer serves as the County's senior technical director for Information Technology (IT) and serves as Department Director responsible for establishing IT standards, development of IT architecture, integration and exploitation of IT services and equipment in a multi-platform environment and operation of the centrally managed IT infrastructure for the County. This is an unclassified position exempt from the Pima County Merit System Rules. Expected qualifications for this position include: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field and significant (10+ years) professional-level experience in the development and administration of complex, multi-platform information technology (IT) systems within a large IT organization. Preferred Qualifications: Successful candidate is required to have and maintain a valid Class D AZ Driver's License. A 39-month DOT Motor Vehicle Record review will be conducted on the successful applicant.
