Supervisor, Structural (Multiple Positions) (Stantec Consulting Services, Inc.; Chandler, AZ):

Ensure all applicable safety codes, regulations and guidelines are met by appropriate design and use of technology for engineering projects. Ensure drawings are reviewed for possible safety and constructability improvement opportunities prior to issue to clients. Perform Structural design and analysis by using applicable codes. Incorporate innovation, optimization, and standardization in designs as appropriate, considering constructability and economics. Support preparation quality project drawings, reports, and calculation packages. Assist structural discipline team on projects while managing scope, schedule, deliverables, and budget. Contribute to business development activities and provide input into proposals. Support Resource allocation, forecasting and coordination with Project Managers, Discipline Supervisors and the Discipline Engineering Manager to ensure projects are staffed with the right people. Identify specific recruitment needs and involvement in the hiring process including orientation and on boarding of new hires. Work with each team member to support them in their career development including performance management as required. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).

Requirements:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, or a related field, and 10 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience; OR a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, or a related field, and 8 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 8 years of experience with the following: Analysis and design for structural steel and reinforced concrete; Completing inspections and condition assessments of concrete and steel structures; Utilizing REVIT, Navisworks, and BIM360; and Using Mathcad.

Of the required experience, must have 7 years of experience with the following: Mine Health and Safety Regulations; and Using STAAD, RISA, and Bluebeam.

Must have US or Canadian P.E. Certification.

Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 10%.

Travel to various international locations required up to 10%.
