Your responsibilities will include the planning and execution of key program/project management activities such as developing / translating customer requirements, scheduling and managing activities to support product development and fulfillment, reporting status,and supporting customers throughout the lifecycle of the engagement. Through this, you will have the opportunity to contribute to and lead multi-disciplined and culturally diverse teams of engineers and business analyst responsible for enabling and deploying OEM offerings to multiple geographic regions. Additionally, you will be expected to constantly learn and demonstrate competencies in new technologies, products and solutions, in addition to making tangible contributions to drive improvements within the end-to-end OEM business processes.

In the typical day as an Engineering Program Manager, you would:

  • Form, lead and coordinate program teams to define customer’s unique OEM requirements and transfer them into a program plan.
  • Develop and direct development of schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plans, and other support requirements for the program.
  • Manage activities of supporting project teams and internal development partners to ensure progress against an established plan.
  • Make determinations based on analysis of business information to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and development schedule.
  • Collaborate with management, manufacturing and development partners to support change management according to defined governance methods and standard processes.
  • Define and monitor all success on critical indicators and core characteristics for costs, requirements, resources and risks.
  • Implement control and reporting structures for program monitoring to communicate progress, escalations, issue analysis, and risk assessments to product stakeholders.
  • Conduct status reviews with program resources, account managers and customers on a regular basis.
  • Effectively respond to changing customer requirements
  • Drives innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities in the manufacturing and/or engineering organization on behalf of the customer.
  • Lead and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.

  • Holding a bachelor's or master's degree in Business Management, Project Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
  • Experienced in leading and coordinating teams, as well as in conflict and risk management.
  • Able to effectively manage competing tasks and priorities completely and efficiently within a fast-paced fluid environment.
  • Responsible, confident and high motivated.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent in verbal and written communication.
  • Hold and maintain PMP/PMI certification (preferred but not required).

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. Annual Salary: $95,100.00 - $218,700.00
