Prent Corporation, a leader in the plastic thermoforming industry, has an excellent opportunity for a Quality Engineer at our Flagstaff, AZ facility.
The primary responsibilities of this position include evaluation of process capabilities on new tooling, contributing to product inspection and judging conformance to all specifications.
This position requires a technical degree with strong math and communications skills. Our selected candidate will have 3-5 years of quality experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Some travel required.
- BS in Quality Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Ability to work independently with strong decision making skills
- Minimum three years' experience in an ISO9001 manufacturing environment
- Ability to solve complex statistical problems
- Experience with "SPC" --- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt desired
- Strong Software proficiency with Statistics and Microsoft Office programs
