As the Productivity Improvement Specialist for MEPPI you will provide expert advice on JIT/Kaizen/Lean (JKL) practices to improve and optimize Gas Circuit Breaker division processes. Responsible to identify opportunities, devise strategies and approaches and implement improvements working with all departments from sales through engineering and manufacturing with a keen focus on material center, assembly and test activities.
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field
- Minimum of 10 years experience in manufacturing and quality improvement programs in custom manufacturing environments or companies that manufacture custom engineered products, or equivalent education and experience
- Advanced knowledge and hands on experience designing and managing manufacturing and quality improvement programs
- Formal training on principles such as lean/JIT and Six Sigma
- Advanced presentation, verbal and written communications skills
- Advanced knowledge of computer programs including MS Office Products and ERP systems.
- Ability to travel as needed including internationally
