Navajo Tourism Department is looking for someone to join their team with skills to negotiate and prepare contracts, leases, prepare and write grants, and administer contracts and funds for approved projects. The position of Senior Economic Development Specialist will also require the successful candidate to handle environmental assessments and right-of-way agreements, conduct site visits, and monitor construction progress, compliance and more.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Admin., Economics or closely related field degree and four years of experience in economic development and management or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. (To receive full credit for education/training, applicant must submit copies of college transcripts, certificates, and diploma, etc.)
- The applicant should have bilingual (English/Navajo) skills.
- A valid state driver's license is required.
