Due to impressive growth, Catapult Systems is currently hiring a Project Manager (Managing Consultant) with experience managing enterprise and mid-market software development projects based on the Microsoft .NET architecture. This position is based in our Austin office.
Duties and Responsibilities Include
- Managing full lifecycle application development projects
- Managing project scope, budget, and client expectations; primary client contact once engaged
- Providing architecture review, and project milestone sessions for project sponsors
- Conducting and leading analysis/requirements workshops and interviews with key stakeholders at client companies
- Managing and delegating responsibilities and priorities to technical lead and development staff
- Preparing formal documentation (requirements and design specifications)
- Provide mentoring for project team members
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing software projects between $200K and $1 million
- At least 7-10 years of project management experience
- Demonstrated strong analysis skills and ability to make critical business recommendations
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects without the guidance of a PMO
- Willingness to manage both private sector and state and local government projects both at client sites and the Catapult office
- Experience using Microsoft Project
- Credible and professional presence; ability to think strategically
- Proven organizational skills and team management ability
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Development experience with Microsoft .NETPMP Certification
