Practice Director
Catapult Systems Inc. is seeking individuals with project management, team leadership, and software architecture experience that are interested in an exciting and challenging career in consulting. As a Catapult Systems consultant you will have the opportunity to work with the latest Microsoft technologies and solutions in a dynamic work environment. The candidate should have strong client facing skills and familiarity with relevant technologies to drive maximum client impact. Candidate needs to be proactive, entrepreneurial, creative and experienced in adapting to a fast moving market. Candidate should be comfortable leading and inspiring the various competencies within the practice including strategy consultants, creative individuals, information architects and analysts. Individual will have authority for hiring and firing, setting budgets, prioritizing tasks, managing multiple projects and work-streams and working with other departments (e.g. technical services, program management, sales and marketing).
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to quickly understand a client’s business objectives and develop very innovative outreach strategies leveraging both online and offline marketing channels
- Creating a culture of innovation within the practice team
- Mentor practice management and staff
- Balance the mix of in-house and subcontractor competencies and expertise in the practice with the business needs of the group
- Constantly assess and refine the organization to best meet the needs of the business
- Ability to design client solutions, assemble client facing execution teams, execute on schedule/budget
- Engages in speaking engagements, industry conferences and periodic publication around industry leading topics
- Design a scalable knowledge management and sharing approach for practice and cross-functional resources
- Responsible for enhancing and enforcing competency methodologies to ensure staffing on projects with ownership of project and campaign success
Key Qualifications
- Deep understanding of core direct marketing concepts (offline & online), preferably some experience in nonprofit fundraising and/or advocacy
- Proven track record of establishing and evolving innovative interactive best practices and thought leadership
- Direct experience developing online strategy and managing interactive campaigns
- Excellent presentation and general client facing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and statistical skills
- Proactive, energetic, flexible and highly motivated
- Bachelors degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Communications or business related studies preferred; MBA preferred
