PRIMARY FUNCTION / PRIMARY GOALS / OBJECTIVES:
- Manages a wide variety of business analyses and regular reporting of market share and market growth for global markets. Manages and maintains quality assurances for the entire reporting system. Provides direction for further enhancements to reporting systems.
- Drives the use of data and fact based decision making. Consults on critical business issues related to the use of data and appropriateness of analytics from those sources. Identify creative solutions through information and analysis in support of ADC's strategic and emerging businesses.
- Builds and maintains strong networks and relationships to obtain critical information and accomplish objectives. External relationships include data suppliers and consultants. Internal customers include Global Commercial Management, Local Markets, Business Development, HQ Finance Staff and Sales management.
- Experienced in working in a matrix environment and influencing others at various levels in the organization to accomplish key goals. Creates new and innovative ways of doing things, demonstrates flexibility, open mindedness, and adaptability to a rapidly changing environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5-7 years of direct experience with secondary data analytics, preferably in healthcare industry required, including analysis and reporting of secondary syndicated sources and translating data into actionable and sound business implications and recommendations.
- Systems and software experience important to effectively manage all data sources, models and create business reports
- Knowledge about various data sources, Secondary reports and publications, syndicated and government data sources. Ability to recommend and utilize such sources appropriately.
- Basic understanding of healthcare industry including key decision makers, channel partners purchasing processes and payors is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work with a range of technically and culturally diverse people and delivering value added analysis and reporting that meet high quality requirements with tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written, and the ability to communicate to large audiences.
- Understanding of organizational structure, operating culture, effective work styles and achieving results in a changing environment.
